Burial Options
- The Monumental area, which requires a full headstone and what is called a ledger and curbing.
- The Monumental Lawn Beam, which requires a headstone (without the ledger and curbing).
- The Lawn area, which requires a bronze plaque.
Cremation Options
We have the Garden areas for the interment of ashes.
The Mulberry Garden, Lone Pine Garden, RSL Garden, Monumental Garden K and Tiled Courtyard Gardens. We have the Niche Wall, located in the Lone Pine Garden.
We also have the option for scattering ashes from our Wetland Bridge.

All plots in the Phillip Island Cemetery are in perpetuity.
Lawn and Monumental Sections
The Right of Interment in the Lawn or Monumental Sections for a plot sized 2.4m x 1.2m inclusive of GST costs $4,025. A subsequent interment in the same plot costs $2,775.
You can reserve a selected plot in the Lawn and Monumental Sections of the Cemetery for the amount of $1,620. This reservation amount is the Right of Interment (ROI) cost when the plot is needed.
The Wetland Bridge
From the unique Wetland Bridge, you can sprinkle the ashes in the wetlands, for the cemetery fee of $825. This includes a small memorial plaque, which is affixed to the Wetland Rock located on the island. We do not offer reservations in the wetland area.
Niche Wall
The Niche Wall, located in the centre of the Lone Pine Garden takes half an urn. The cost for a plot in the Niche Wall is $1,115 which includes a plaque 145mm x 127mm.
You can reserve a plot in this area for the amount of $540. This reservation amount is the Right of Interment cost when the plot is needed.
Gardens:
Mulberry, Lone Pine and RSL
The Right of Interment and Cemetery Services fee for one interment in a Garden Plot in the Mulberry Garden, Lone Pine Garden and RSL Garden, all of which take two urns, costs $1,410 (which includes a granite base measuring 500mm x 400mm). Any subsequent interments in a garden plot attracts a fee of $585. The bronze plaque is an additional cost.
You can reserve a selected plot in these garden areas for the amount of $635. This reservation amount is the Right of Interment cost when the plot is needed.
Tiled Courtyard Gardens (North, East, South & West)
The Tiled Courtyard Garden plots are single or double plots. The cost for the Right of Interment and Cemetery Services fee in a single plot is $1,210 and for a double (West only) is $1,360 (for double plots the cost of 1st interment and one plaque sized 135mm x 100mm is included). Any subsequent interments attracts a fee of $585.
You can reserve a single plot in this area for $635 and a double plot for $785. The reservation amount is the Right of Interment cost when the plot is needed.

The Monumental Garden K plots are now all occupied or reserved.
